AmaZEN Wellness provides therapeutic massage services for patients who may benefit from massage as a supportive component of their overall care plan. The bodywork provided is within the scope of licensed massage therapy and collaborate with referring providers when appropriate.

Working Alongside Your Patient's Care Team
When a healthcare provider recommends therapeutic massage, I use that recommendation to help guide the client's treatment while remaining within the scope of massage therapy. Recommendations regarding session length, frequency, areas of concern, precautions, or other treatment considerations can be incorporated into the client's plan.

My goal is not to replace the care your office provides. Rather, AmaZEN Wellness can serve as an additional resource when hands-on therapeutic care may complement the patient's existing treatment plan.
Who May Benefit From Therapeutic Massage?
Therapeutic massage may be appropriate for individuals experiencing muscular tension, musculoskeletal discomfort, postural strain, mobility-related discomfort, or other conditions for which a healthcare provider believes massage may provide supportive benefits.

Some clients may also seek massage as part of their recovery or ongoing wellness plan. Because every medical condition and every client is different, I evaluate each person individually and may communicate with the referring provider when additional information or clarification is needed.

Massage therapy is supportive care and does not replace medical diagnosis, treatment, physical therapy, occupational therapy, or other healthcare services.
Documentation & Insurance Support
I understand that documentation can be an important part of coordinating care, particularly when a client has been referred for therapeutic services or is seeking reimbursement through an insurance plan.

AmaZEN Wellness can provide a superbill for eligible services, along with provider information such as my NPI and professional credentials. When a physician's documentation is required, I also provide a Letter of Medical Necessity support form that allows the referring provider to document their own clinical recommendation, treatment frequency, and other relevant considerations.

AmaZEN Wellness is an out-of-network provider. A superbill may be provided to the client for submission to their insurance carrier, but coverage and reimbursement are determined by the client's individual plan and are not guaranteed.​​​
