SERVICES

AmaZEN Hands (also known as AmaZEN Wellness) provides professional massage and skin care services for therapeutic and self-care purposes.  AmaZEN Wellness encompasses everything of AmaZEN Hands, including the clinically handcrafted herbal retail products sold in the online shop.  However, both entities (AmaZEN Hands and AmaZEN Wellness) are one in the same.  The focus of AmaZEN Hands is to offer muscle relief, boost circulation, and promote relaxation. It is crucial to emphasize that these are non-medical and non-invasive treatments and AmaZEN Hands does not diagnose, treat, or cure any medical conditions or diseases.

 

WELLNESS PACKAGES

1. Purchase & Validity
All Wellness Packages, Series, and Memberships (hereinafter "Packages") are pre-paid programs purchased as a single transaction. Packages are valid for six (6) months from the date of purchase unless otherwise specified in the package description. Unused sessions after the expiration date are forfeited without monetary refund or credit.

2. Scheduling & Usage
Sessions within a Package must be scheduled in advance based on availability. Packages are designed for use by the purchasing client only and are non-transferable. Sessions may not be shared or gifted to another individual.

3. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
The standard 24-hour cancellation/rescheduling policy applies to each session within a Package. Sessions canceled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours notice will be deducted from the Package total.

​

4. Refunds & Transfers
All Package sales are final and non-refundable. Packages may not be transferred, sold, or exchanged for cash, credit, or other services. In the event of a medically-documented long-term illness or injury, a hold may be placed on the remaining sessions at the sole discretion of AmaZEN Wellness, with a doctor's note required.

5. Price & Service Changes
Packages are sold at the price and with the service descriptions as advertised at the time of purchase. AmaZEN Wellness reserves the right to change the price, service inclusions, or terms of Packages for future sales without notice. Existing Packages will be honored as sold.

6. General
AmaZEN Wellness reserves the right to refuse service or package sale to anyone. These terms are subject to change. The most current terms will be posted on this page.

By purchasing a Wellness Package, Series, or Membership, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

​

APPOINTMENT SCHEDULING

All clients, both new and existing, are encouraged to book appointments through the online booking system provided by AmaZEN Hands or email the LMT, Angela, directly at angela@amazenhands.com. Angela is the sole owner and service provider. It is recommended to schedule appointments at least 48 hours in advance. Please note that due to limited availability, same-day appointments will not be accepted.

Upon scheduling, clients may be requested to cover any potential deposit prior to services. A valid email address is required from all guests for the purpose of receiving receipts, invoices, and additional correspondence. Clients will not be charged prior to their service, except in cases of deposits or cancellation fees. It is mandatory to confirm appointments no later than 12 hours in advance; failure to do so may result in automatic cancellation and may incur a fee.

All personal information will be securely stored, and will never be shared unless legally ordered by a court.

​

CORPORATE & EVENTS

Angela, the hired professional, will arrive to your location no later than 20 minutes prior to your event time to allow time to set up. A table surface would be much appreciated to set up business cards, promotional items, etc.

​

AmaZEN Hands offers services at a rate of $65 per hour, with an additional $30 surcharge for travel and equipment, $10 to $20 for parking if applicable, and 15% gratuity, unless guests will be encouraged to tip individually. CHILDREN

AmaZEN Hands currently does not provide services to minors.

CLIENT RECORDS

AmaZEN Hands prioritizes compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensures the protection of personal information submitted through intake forms. Client profiles or records are maintained for each client, which include basic contact information, session notes, or any provided health details. Personal information will never be shared unless legally required by a court.

​

INSURANCE AND PAYMENT

Payment for services may be made anytime prior to commencement, but no later than the same day. Accepted payment methods include cash, credit/debit cards, or other agreed-upon options.

AmaZEN Hands does not accept insurance at the moment. It is recommended to review the list of contraindications to ensure your safety. The list of contraindications highlights high-risk factors and it may strongly advise against receiving any services. AmaZEN Hands reserves the right to refuse or modify services for anyone with a contraindication to prioritize client safety. Failure to provide necessary information, acting impartially, dishonestly, or negligently may result in severe health risks. The business cannot be held fully liable in such cases.

CANCELLATION/RESCHEDULING

Clients are encouraged to provide proper notice at least 12 hours prior to their scheduled service to avoid a $30 late cancellation fee. If a service is interrupted for whatever reason, you will only be charged for the time used along with any applicable additional fees.

​

DISCRIMINATION/HARASSMENT

AmaZEN Hands upholds a policy of non-discrimination based on age, gender, orientation, race, political views, religion, or creed. All clients are encouraged to extend the same respect and courtesy. Any form of sexual harassment or bullying will not be tolerated and will lead to the disruption of the active session and a discontinuation of any future services. Depending on the severity of the situation or at the discretion of AmaZEN Hands, legal action may be pursued with the involvement of law enforcement, if necessary.

AmaZEN Hands reserves the right to refuse service to anyone deemed unsafe, unsanitary, or a health/safety hazard. Soliciting or engaging in scams is strictly prohibited.

​

INCLEMENT WEATHER

In the event of inclement weather, clients with scheduled appointments will be notified of any delays or closures. If a delay or closure necessitates rescheduling, no cancellation fees will be applied.

​

ILLNESS

If the service provider of AmaZEN Hands becomes ill, clients will be notified as they would be in the case of inclement weather. Cancellation fees will not apply in such cases. Whether the service provider or client becomes ill, it is recommended to allow a minimum of 14 days for any lingering symptoms to clear after recovering from an illness before attempting to reschedule.

COVID-19

In compliance with CDC guidelines, wearing masks is no longer mandatory at AmaZEN Hands, although clients are welcome to continue wearing them. The service provider may wear a mask upon your special request.

​

AmaZEN Hands will never inquire about clients' vaccination or booster status out of respect for personal health choices. With kindness, it is requested that clients reciprocate the same respect for confidentiality. If clients have concerns about their health and safety, then it is recommended to follow the cancellation policy if an appointment has already been scheduled.

​

PREPARATION OF SPACE FOR MOBILE SERVICES

Clients are responsible for preparing an adequate and clean space for the massage session. The area should be properly ventilated, free of hazards, and have sufficient room to accommodate all necessary equipment.

​

ACCESSIBILITY FOR MOBILE SERVICES

For your convenience and safety, please ensure that the location is easily accessible for parking and entry as well as sufficient for carrying equipment. If the session is in a multi-story building, there should be handicapped access, such as a ramp or elevator.

​

SAFETY AND RESPECT

Safety and respect are of utmost importance. Any inappropriate or disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated, and the session will be terminated immediately, with or without warning, if necessary. You will still be responsible for any applicable payments or outstanding balances.

​

SAFE ENVIRONMENT FOR MOBILE SERVICES

To maintain safety, appointments will not be scheduled in areas deemed unsafe. Please be sure to also provide necessary information about the neighborhood, community, or commercial area to ensure a secure working environment.

​

DECLINE OF SERVICE

While striving to meet your needs, there may be rare occasions where the service provider of AmaZEN Hands must use professional discretion and decline to providing services and reserves this right. This may be due to factors such as client health conditions, unsuitable environment, or any situation that could compromise the safety or well-being of the client, the service provider, or both.

HERBAL PRODUCTS AND DISCLAIMER

The herbal products are carefully formulated by Angela, a certified herbalist, and created to help relieve symptoms of specific conditions. Please note, products have not been evaluated by the FDA and are not intended to treat or cure any conditions or diseases. Results for individuals may vary and are not a guarantee. For a more tailored remedy, please refer to the Holistic Health Questionnaire or contact Angela directly at angela@amazenhands.com. The information you provide with your complete honesty is highly recommended. If you are dishonest in any way or choose to withhold important information, it may result in adverse reactions that may impact your health. Please read the product label. Do not consume with any medication and do not take more than the recommended daily serving. Always consult your physician before attempting a new herbal remedy. Discontinue use immediately if you experience any adverse reactions.
