Dermaplane Aftercare Instructions

Glow protected. Skin respected. Results maximized.

Dermaplaning removes dead skin buildup and fine vellus hair (“peach fuzz”), leaving your skin smoother, brighter, and better able to absorb products. Because fresh skin has been revealed, proper aftercare is important to protect your results and prevent irritation.

Keep Your Skin Happy
✅ Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate
Drink plenty of water and use nourishing, hydrating skincare products.
✅ Use gentle skincare
Stick to gentle cleansers, moisturizers, and calming products for a few days.
✅ Wear SPF Daily (Very Important!)
Your skin will be more sensitive to the sun after dermaplaning. Wear a broad-spectrum SPF 30+ daily, even if it's cloudy.
✅ Moisturize generously
Keeping skin moisturized helps maintain your glow and supports healing.
Makeup Guidelines
If possible, allow your skin to breathe for the remainder of the day. If makeup is necessary, use clean brushes/sponges and lighter products when possible.
Breakouts After Dermaplaning?
Some clients may experience minor purging or tiny bumps if congestion was present beneath the skin. This is usually temporary. Avoid picking and continue gentle skincare.
Best Results
For ongoing smoothness and glow, dermaplaning is often recommended every 4–6 weeks, depending on your skin goals and sensitivity.
